Hey I found out the thing at the DD tonight is part of the Modern Drunkard convention, plus it's the beginning of the pride weekend, so the whole fruit loop is gonna be a zoo. No parking, too crowded, etc. I also found out the western Bone Cleavers are playing at a bar by my house on Saturday. So, I'm bowing out of tonight, but I will definitely meet you at the cooler next Friday when you play.

well its still a few months off.. but I'll be there 11 days.

This is my second account with SG, I've been here a good long while and if I took things personally I would have gone nuts a long time ago with all the shit that gets thrown at me on the boards and stopped giving Sean my money. Offer is as solid as my character, like a rock. Most people who meet me in person from the boards are shocked that I'm a pretty nice guy. I just have very strong feelings about our military, and am very fiscally conservative. My polotics aren't even particularlly to the right.

keep your uninformed crap off my journal and on the CE boards, where you will get ripped down by much smarter people than me.

for what its worth, i hope you don't leave. SG gets all of us down from time to time...sometimes its worth taking a time out, and then coming back to it.

also i've only just joined "Ageing Punks", so haven't had time yet to get into any good debates with anyone. but its great having a group where its not full of younger "punks" going on about AFI and Hot Topic, and slagging off whatever band its cool to slag off at the time!

I went and saw the Western Bone Cleavers at the Hurricane. They were great, Did like a three hour set. Lot's of covers, everything from Elmore James to 999, with an MIA song thrown in the mix. The singer from Subterfuge books the shows out there. If you guys wanna book a show I'll give you his #. Oh yeah, Don't leave.

I just read that post that probably was the one that pissed you off about the site and FUCK I get so sick of assholes on this site that all they care about it nit picking on people. It seemed at first that this site was gonna be full of cool "alternative" meaning lifestyle choice,music ect and it turns out one fucking college dorm room gets ahold of it and all the fucking smart ass elite rich fucking spoiled kids away at college have an opinion on whether you search if there was another of the same thread you posted..Who cares! I can see why you would want to leave. I have wanted to several times but I have a few selected friends I really enjoy so I guess that keeps me around. Hopefully you will too

i don't know whae all these "don't leave" posts on your journal are about, but i agree. it goes back and forth man, you'll see.

i also came across the group you own, great fucking idea for a group. all the more reason to stay. like i said, i don't know what it's all about, but judging from members comments (who i know) who are telling you to stay, it seem like it's one of those things that we all have felt before at one time, ride it out whatever it is, you will be glad you did.

Dalle post-thing a few days back, and I must ask, what about the years that Rancid spent never giving interviews and never posing in Spin magazine and Revolver like.... well... poseurs..... hmmm.. *ahem*. They have taken quite a strange road these past few months. I think Mr. Armstrong has fucking gone bonkers, so to speak.
