Played on repeat.
A fragrance bottle, long emptied.
The photograph of your parents before you were born.
A teddy bear, now ragged,
Barely recognizable.

A feeling between worlds.
Long gone.
Long lost.
Cradling sand.
Slipping through.
The lingering pain of what can never return.
Its for the better.
These are the bricks that built you
Made you strong.
