i know they pick people for the drama, for the personalities over the talent usually. sometimes i wonder what industry outsiders must think of chefs when they see these shows.
I read Og Mandino for the first time about 25 years ago, and that quote used to be a common devotional in liberal-minded "hippie" churches for years. I just thought it was a nice sentiment when I came across it again.

I refuse to watch that show. Seriously, the way the "boss" treats people on that show pisses me off to no end. If I were on that show and he pulled some of that shit with me I'd have his ass arrested for battery. Grrrrr.
