I promised you that I would take a picture of something in bloom up here, and I almost forgot about this picture of a forsythia shrub that I found near the museum.
When the opportunity presents itself, I will go back later on and take a few more pictures. Have a good night and a great Friday!
I'm glad that you liked the picture, and I will try to take some more for you as the weather gets better and more things start to flower.
Hmm...it would be most excellent to see you, even if it is only for a few hours in an airport terminal. It's certainly within the realm of possibility for me, and I shall do my best to see that it happens.
As for The Trip, I think that I will be staying on the Upper West Side or Midtown; the hotels we've looked at are rather promising. I hope that we can pick a day to hang out while I'm there.
Me too. Definitely not in the "Bill Haverchuck, minion of darkness, goofy goth name" sort of way, though. We have some pretty great ones here. I imagine NY does too, Park Lawn and the like.
I'm pretty damn busy the rest of the week, but I'm certainly going to have to make some time for BOP, so maybe Thurs? Or if you want just me, (hehe), Sunday through Tuesday are best.
From what I can tell, I'm a fairly normal shape, but nothing ever fits me either, maybe just because I'm so incredibly picky. But yeah, I won't subject most people to clothes shopping, because I'm sure it must be aggravating. I usually wear a pair of jeans until it starts falling apart, and then get upset because I have to buy a new one and I know I'll never find a pair as good.
The public transportation in New York was my favorite part when I visited. The Subway made me so happy, every time we rode it. It's probably the part I miss the most. In Portland, all we have is light rail. And it's nice light rail, but it isn't the same.
Hey, I missed seeing you tonight... I got my picture thingy all done, now I only got like a bajillion to go in less than a week..
