I'm kind of glad I didn't go into the city today, only because I wouldn't have been happy getting caught in the rain.Still, I should have at least gone to the bank and did some minor shopping around town. But I'm being lazy this afternoon.

I'm supposed to go to a friend's house tonight, because she's having some of her stupid buddies over to get drunk and most likely watch baseball. I miss her, and she wants to make me a mudslide, so I'll be there; albeit sober, and sitting in a corner someplace.

I just spent a good hour copying down recipes for cheesecake. Part of me is tempted to call in sick from work tomorrow, and stay home making one. Tempting...but not worth losing a day's pay over, particularly when I'm about to be jobless. So when I get out at 5, maybe I'll make one.

PS: I cannot stop listening to Stevie Wonder.
