you watched the same one i did. (somebody wants to talk about buffy and i'll go on for days. it's kinda an obsession.)

faith is in jail, in los angeles. put there by angel. she'll be back this year. (on both shows -- yeah, angels not that good, but i take it for what it is: still better than most of the other crap)

willow's a witch and a lesbian and an addict.
she wasn't killing people, just one person.
but she did tear his flesh from his body and set him on fire, so she scores bonus points for gore.

willow's addicted to magic. i know, it's as lame as it sounds.

if you watched the show when faith was on, you know that she started to get into casting spells. floating pencils and restoring souls and puppy-shit like that.
well, once she got to college, she started to get into it a lot more. that's where she met her girlfriend, tara, who was also into the witch-y ways.

so, tara teaches willow magical things, and she picks up fast. tara also teaches willow a few other things, if you know what i mean.

by the end of last year she becomes REALLY powerful. like telekensis and magical floating daggers and crazy black eyes and stuff. well, it seems that when you get into it, like she did, it takes you over, and you cant stop.
and the more powerful you are, the harder it is to pull away.

cut to the episode you saw. willow had spent the better part of the year looking (and acting) like Renton and was finally becoming just a nerd again. bam! she gets a case of the re-venge and turns into the uber-willow. dark-willow. eeeEEEvil-willow.

shitty season. excellent finale. i think UPN's showing the season finale next week. tonight they showed two episodes, sorta. the second last episode and then the first half of the two-hour finale. i'll guess the second half is next week.
