When Famous Monsters of Filmland hit newsstands in 1958, it united an entire generation of creature-loving children and sparked genre fan culture. No one anticipated the effect it would have on some of those "Monster Kids," who would go on to become genre legends. Well this is it for me here on SG. Not sure if I'll be back. It's kind of not looking that way. I need to spend some time doing some of my own writing instead of living for/reviewing other people's films. At the very least I need to devote some serious time to that pursuit. So on that note I'll catch up with you on Myspace. I'll be sure and keep you up to date on the convention front when things begin to take shape. And though I won't promise you I'll be at FoF next year because I've said it the last three years runnin', I will say that I have a new job now which no longer has me deciding whether I want to pay for food over rent.
