I've just been in a real funk lately. My life has become a series of "going through the motions" and obligatory gestures. Also have been trying -- thus far, unsuccessfully -- to extricate myself from a very unhealthy relationship. Often feel lonely, frustrated, and emotionally thwarted.

Oh yeah...and did I mention I've been horny as hell?! (tee hee). Got this long-distance, unrequited thing going on right now, too. Talk about FRUSTRATING. (Ha, ha.) He is an absolute PEACH. *sigh* I *heart* him...BIG TIME.

I am always profoundly moved by genuinely heartfelt music. Kurt Cobain wrote and played music that came from a place deep down within himself that spoke to many of us. Gotta keep the positive vibe going to drown out the negative, it's just like in the Senate, the majority wins. Sometimes you can get all wrapped up in the negative aspects and you lose sight of things. Life is only as bad as you think it is, your perception of things sets your reality. I see it over and over in other people. I get caught up in it myself.

Shit happens, as cliche as it is, it's true. Good shit and bad shit; you gotta deal with the both of them. I'm not saying just ignore the bad, you have to deal with it, but never forget that no matter how overwhelming it is there is ALWAYS more good things than bad things.

Well, if I had people as here as important to me as your family is to you, I might put down the book and go visit. Alas, all the important people in my life are 14 time zones away. Soon, though, I'll be seeing all of them again.
