So my house is looking for a new roommate right now which is always weird. The woman who came in today to see it was awesome, but we have like 12 more people to see (after narrowing them down from about 60 replies). I always have such a hard time with this process because I like everybody. The catch is all 5 of my roommates have to agree on the new roomie...

Its really interesting to try to gauge if you want to live with somebody based on a one hour interview.

Giving people a tour of my house reminds me how happy I am to be here in this warm home. People who come to see it seem to fall in love with instantly.

The weird thing is that we are called the lily pad house and a little while ago I saw a building a few miles away that had painted on its side lily pad house... will you marry me?.

Thanks to all the people who wrote nice stuff in my last journal. Things are a bit better now, but I can see that it is going to be a while before she fully trusts me again...but that is a road I am more than willing to walk.
