I have been drinkin a bit, i dont think its a bad thing. Haven't been listening to too much music though. It kind of upsets me more. I have good and bad moments every day. I'm just hangin out for the time when it doesnt hurt so much...but clearly that will be a long time..
anyway, enough about me...how are you? are you going to the meet up sat?
Yeah sydney has that effect on people...I've been here 3 years and always wonder what the hell i'm doing here...plenty to do, just really clicky and unfriendly...I think melb is my next stop!!
As for going overseas, i say just do it!! If you've got nothing tying you down here and you can afford it you should go. I'm sure you'd have an amazing time!!
Now for the gnarles barkley album. I have heard it (i manage a musicshop) and i didn't mind it. I really like the tone of Cee-lo's voice and i'm a danger mouse fan but i kind of found it a little flat in places.....but on your recommendation i will definately give it another listen...
The cover is pretty cool. I can never see anything in those 'magic eye' picture's, or whatever they are called , so it was good to be able to interact with the cd...though I had a few drinks while I was looking at it..so maybe it was the alcohol..
My adventure is that I met someone online and he has come to stay with me for awhile. So far it is going well. He's cooking me dinner right at this moment..haha....hopefully I won't change my mind after eating his cooking.
Hey there you!
I haven't been up to much of anything except for
working, working, working my little arse off (not literally of course).
Working so much that I don't even have anything of interest to tell you about...
I still haven't strolled up to the lomography store I sense your shock from here!
He he he!
And yes, I certainly do work in a bar. Maybe you've heard of it?
Its a lil' old live music venue in Darlinghurst called Spectrum...
So yeah I get to hear alot of different bands & what not.
Though I've gotta say that there is a very low percentage of performances
that ever actually stick out in my mind as groups to remember.
I hear so many songs by so many different bands that they all begin to sound the same.
For the most part that has absolutely nothing to do with the individual bands, but more to do with the fact that I'm not a huge music buff.
Out of breath after that miniature rant....
check my blog for something you may or may not be interested in...
It was really cool to meet you last night babe!
I'm just sorry I didn't have more time to have a decent chat with you.
I always get my arse kicked for conversing when I'm supposed to be
pouring beers.
I'm a little embarrassed about how quickly it died after The Follow finished.
"Its not usually that crap, I swear!!!" Ha ha ha...
Hopefully we'll get the chance to talk again sometime, preferably for more than 2 minutes!
Take care hun...
