Not a huge fan of hip-hop but I've got to say I've definately got a soft spot fot the talent we're churning out of this country at the moment.
Though most Aussies would rather mask their accents when on show with the rest of the world, I really love hearing our Kath&Kim like accents in songs these days.
Hilltop Hoods are definately an Oz group to be proud of, as are alot of artists coming out of NZ.
I've always really liked 1200 Techniques but haven't heard anything from them in so long. Any idea whats going on with them?

Awesome, South Dowling St is only 5mins walk from my apartment!
I checked out the different cameras on the lomo site, but not knowing a hell of alot about photography I came away slightly confused.
The LCA one that you suggested looks awesome, but I'm not sure if it takes 4 frames per photo like the Action Sampler does, which is a huge selling point to me (damn novelties!). Also the site claims to only have second hand LCA's available & in extremely limited numbers. Do you have a second preference seeing as the LCA could be a non event?

Yeah I checked out the Oz site, thats where I saw all the different models.
I do like the novelty factor of the Oktomat & others but I actually really like the soft style of photo that the Holga ones produce... decisions, decisions.
I guess I really should just get off my arse & wander on over to South Dowling St sometime
