I've sort of been involved in a situation like your friend (but without the proposal) quite recently (and by that I mean, I'm pretty much still in the middle of it) but I was the "other girl"... fucking nasty!

a long time ago my boss took a co-worker of mine and I to a psychic... just for shits and giggles as a Christmas present. We all met individually with the psychic in private. The psychic told me that I was unhappy at my job... and that many oppertunities would present themselves in the near future to change careers...
She told my co-worker something to the same effect.
We both ended up quitting in the course of the next year...
Haha... that trip to the psychic ended up causing her to lose fer 2 best employees.!

If your looking for an awesome book get "A Dirty Job" by chrisopher moore I read ALOT of books and that is by far the best one I have read in a very long time. It's extremely well written you wont want to put it down, seriously. You can find it pretty cheap on Amazon.com the other books I mentioned in my journal are good too (they are great actually I highly recomend them , they just arent near as good as A Dirty Job ) ♥
