I guess I am lucky I have never worked for anyone. Unless you count my Mother, though techniacally it is my store, and I've never been told what to do. But I don't get paid. Alway's a downside to things.

I'm looking into getting a tattoo soon. I'm scared though. Needles scare me badly.

Damn dude. I know how you feel. We work our asses off here and some people get piddly while others are treated to a trip to the Dominican Republic. The old 80/20 rule applies. 80% of the work is done by 20% of the people....80% of the raise pool goes to 20% of the people...and usually they aren't the same people that do the work.

I'd love to work on my own. I say go for it. What do you do?

working for yourself is good, but sometimes it's nice to know there is a regular wage coming in. i guess it's a catch 22 situation.

Sounds like you had a bit of a crap day there my friend, good to see I'm not the only one who has the crappy experience when it comes to shopping for food and stuff, what really frustrates me is you expect staff to behave like they do where I work and they never do they're all ignorant braindead zombies, I might not like my job much but at least I actually help people when they ask. Self employment is a stormy sea for the faint of heart I suppose it depends what you do and how good you are though.

Good for you standing up for yourself. You can only take so much before you've got to SAY something. That said, I didn't even know there WAS such a phenomenon as travelling Europe for "Design inspiration," and I think I should get in on this somehow as quickly as possible.
