I was honestly a little creeped out by your corrospondance.
A better way to meet people on SG is to post on their journals, on the bords and join some groups of interest and post there. People will get to know you and you'll find kindred spirits without being too forward (and thus creepy)

read through some posts in the newbies group and on the everything SG board for starters, and do some exploring. i think that'll make for a more enjoyable experience for everyone involved...
