I can't belive how time passes!
I've been very busy working, playing music and playing more music.
I'm already in one band and I auditioned for another band on Sunday. I haven't heard back yet. (Wish me luck).
I also started taking voice lessons. I've always backed up other people. I've been told I have a nice voice, but I can tell it's not trained....

Happy Solstice everyone!
Yesterday was Solstice, the real holiday this time of year. Who are we kidding? It's all about the pagan holiday; the return of the sun.
Like the New Year, it's a time of renewal, starting yesterday, the days get longer, and longer, until the Summer Solstice around June 21st.

I also joined a photography salon. I submitted my first picture to the salon.

Last night I went out with a friend to the Brewery Christmas Party.
It was a blast. I met a lot of people, and had a good time.
I haven't partied like that in a while.
Slept half the day away. Now, I suppose I have to do something with myself.

It's been a while since I wrote anything.
Tonight I met up with an old friend of mine and we played some Celtic music together.
I love the driving rhythms of Celtic music, but I don't get a chance to play it as much as I'd like.
This could lead to more chances to perform, which would make me very happy.

Wow, I can't believe how time has flown.
I've had my head buried in coding a new web site, and lost track of time.
My band doesn't have anything coming up for a while, so I can work on other things for a while. I meeting a friend of mine Wednesday night to go over some tunes. It should be fun.

Today is my last day of getting up at 4:00am! It's 9:30 am and I just got back home. I'm tired and I'm going back to bed.
I can't complain too much, because I work from home and have a flexible schedule that allows me to do what I want.

It's been a tough week.
I've been getting up at 4:00 am and going downtown to a Zen temple and meditating. (It's an intensive practice week). At the same time, I have to work and prepare for a performance this Sunday.
To say the least I'm tired. But, I think it's all going to be okay.

I play guitar in a band and we are playing a wedding this Sunday.
It's kind of funny, because, we usually don't play weddings. (This is only the second time for me).
At the last minute, the bride asked if I could play Ave Maria with a singer. Like any good musician, I said, "Sure." Then, I ran out to get the music.
Usually our band plays dances, concerts or special events.

I spent about eight hours today driving around and playing music.
I live in LA and I drove to Riverside to meet with a singer and go over a song we have to perform this Sunday.
I then drove to Monrovia for a rehearsal with my band.
I left the house around 1pm and didn't get home until after 8:30 pm.
