Oh no - your kidding! frown You have my complete sympathy, especially seeing you were SO looking forward to it! The exact same thing happened to us when we watched Robbie Williams, we'd been waiting ages, got an excellent position at the front, and after siting there for 4 hours, with 10 minutes to go - some knob comes and pushes my girlfriend and nearly burns the girl next to her with his cigerette while pushing his way to the front.. ggrrrr! mad As usual I completely lost it and had to be restrained and was firmly told it wasn't worth it. Ironically the rest of his family turned up about 10 minutes later looking rough as fuck so in retrospect it's probably better I didn't :-)

I don't think you can blame the girls for the break - they need to catch their breath you know :-) It's more a venue thing, you need to be able to move, sit, talk and get drinks during intervals otherwise it seems like forever.

As for lame/weird, I'm afraid this kinda one of the pitfalls of meeting people over the Internet and then meeting them in real life; although I've had it in non-Internet related situations as well. If you make a couple of really good friends, then it's worth it smile

Chip up girly kiss
wireless:
That sucks. Hope we have a better crowd in Chicago.
lhia:
I know exactly what you mean. Like right as the girls were coming on stage 4 guys just barrelled through me and a few other people along the way to get dead center, maybe 3 folks back. And yeah, they were all like 5'10", plus they had full glasses of beer to slosh everywhere as they moved through.

I was there with my fiance, and we left early, too. He asked me if I wanted to go, and I really wanted to so we did. We met the bands, and they were really damned cool. But I didn't get to see shit for the girls show. All I could see was from the top of their shoulders up. I was sooooooo looking forward to this show frown

At least you get another opportunity to see it... hopefully it's a better venue and crowd in Chicago biggrin
krissy1:
Oh no, that sucks so bad !! I hope the Chicago show is better for you, and I hope the Philly show I'm going to doesn't suck. eeek

Not you sweetie, the FUCKIN TALL GUY!!! YEAH, YOU HEARD ME!!! Bitch ass.
You should have kicked him in the balls.
But then again, I feel kinda bad for him. It was probably the only time this year where he will get to see girls in various stages of undress. Hahaha, sucks for him!!!

The sad thing about being on the short side is that you usually end up with large, inconsiderate, self-serving assholes blocking you at inopportune times. I go for incapacitating kidney punches when simple requests are ignored or snubbed.

Hope your trip is going well otherwise.
