Please allow me to introduce to you my newest additions to my lil' household:
The calico is Mama Vouge and the bi-color is Cowboy Kaz. Let me preface that I am highly allergic to cats yet never have the heart to not love on them if they are around, so I've been restlessly looking for a Sphynx cat for years and was never fast enough to get a deposit down on a kitten. That, and most reputable breeders were at least a couple states away. In a crazy turn of events, one of my friend's aunt posted an ad on Facebook testing the waters to see if anyone was interested before she would decide to surrender them to the local humane society. Some people don't realize that Sphynx cats require a lot of attention and care, they have a specific set of needs that not everyone can accommodate.
I am not even on Facebook anymore, but was in a COD game party when my friends gave me the tip. 48 hours later, I met these wrinkly sweethearts and placed a deposit.
They have made themselves at home in my house and my heart. And I'm thrilled to not only be a dog mama, but a cat mama now.
Bonus: I can give them tummy raspberries without breaking out into a swollen, sneezing/crying mess.
Another bonus: I played with my first DSLR to get these shots and I cannot wait to set this bad boy up for some self portraits.
