nikonphoto80:
I didn't do anything for the 4th, Lexington closes down the back streets and has a big festival but I didn't go down, I drove down there and it looks crazy.
finch:
ick. i'm sorry lady frown

i don't think i've really heard of the 4th being anyone's favorite holiday before. i hope that it's better for you next year.
starbuck42:
Thanks!

Oddly, I'm okay with humid heat, since I won't wake up feeling parched. I handled it pretty well in Chicago. It was crazy the other night, I came home from work at 9pm and it was still 113 degrees. Ick
sharona1881:
i just watched playing by heart yesterday biggrin
sharona1881:
it is my second favorite movie of all time and second favorite to quote - my favorite is called dream for an insomniac and it stars ione skye and mackenzie astin - fabulous film if youve not yet seen it!

thanks - i try to attempt new things in my classroom each year. the use of recycleable materials is really an important way of teaching children that they can get multiple uses from so many things, and that art is about expression, not the fancy materials used to make art. the books i got the curriculum ideas from are Beautiful Stuff - Learning wth Found Materials and Designs for Living and Learning. I would love any materials you could collect and pop in a box to send to me - I'm always looking for donations biggrin
beaky:
No need to be worried... hmmm, maybe just a bit, but tis ok. How are things with you? have you started to look for another job?
sharona1881:
i would love anything you want to send me biggrin shells, beach glass, driftwood, etc.
oooh - i adore old keys - save em up for me from now on! smile
kwizzle:
You feelin' better, babes?
kwizzle:
It was fun, but weddings are exhausting. I felt like I had to be on the whole time.

I'm totally hip to the Vegas wedding vibe, yo.
beaky:
