HELLO LONG LOST INTERNET LOVERS!!!!

Sooooooooo, much has happened, the most notable of which to you all is that my laptop has been down for a month or so, and I just NOW got it back up, and now my little bro is coming to visit so I will likely not be on here again for a week or so!

Other things:

Went to SG Karaoke in Columbus about a month ago, and it was so much fun! I'll put up my pics, but please go check out AlissaBrunelli 's album Happy Endings if you haven't already, bc of course hers are better. I was a drunk mess, but oh well

In other news, I got laid off from my day job. Oh wait, and it was the only job I had, bc I QUIT my waitressing job about a month ago!!! So that sucks, but the whole dept. was laid off, so ist was not like I was fired, but that still doesn't pay the bills!

I then panicked and after 3 hrs of being unemployed took a job at a bar where one of my best friend's works, and worked this Tues as "Shot Girl" which involves going around selling shots off a tray and flirting your way into money, occasionally taking gropes for twenties, having tequila spilt all over me, and being rejected and demeaned left and right. At 4 am, after all night HATING it, I was happy with the cash money I took home and thought I could do it. Thurs, when the hour to return loomed closer, I panicked again. And called in and quit. Oops! Did I mention I'm not much of a bar girl (disregard previous drunken pictures of me in a bar). But seriously, maybe once a month is good for me... I can't handle that!

So now I am taking it easy/ picking up gigs where I can get them, applying places and not rushing into anything. Tomorrow I see if unemployment will send me money!

In related news, I have been doing a lot more modeling, some for my portfolio, some for money, and I am really starting to enjoy it. This first week of being unemployed, I made more in modeling gigs than I did all last week working my real job before I left there! Too bad I can't count on that being consistent!!! But, I will keep up with it, and I am auditioning a lot more too, so I am happy with that. Keep your fingers crossed that I get a commercial I just went for that would cover ANOTHER week of being unemployed

I shot the most recent short film with my friend the director (well, we are friends now, and he is having a rough time lately, so keep him in your thoughts too!). It was a great shoot and I was so proud of the way he handled the extras (so fun to be on a set with extras, AND not BE one!!!). I am still waiting on the final edits, BUT, I got a boy out of it

That's right, we;ll call him Johnny, bc that was his character's name, and bc I want to. He is 29, played opposite me, and was super cute and nice to me. We spent the night before and all day with great tension (including in our love scene when I was trying so hard to be professional and still wasn't sure if he was into me yet!). We went out after and have been seeing each other since, for almost a month now, several times a week, which is a lot, since my recent attention span has led me to usually date a few guys at a time and see them twice a month or so. So yeah, B disappeared, C implied I had no depth (I implied he was 33 and unmarried for a reason), and the more and more I was around other guys the more I liked the idea of just seeing Johnny, since he is good to me so far and didn't like the idea of me seeing anyone else anyway. So yeah.

Otherwise, I have been fighting the same cold for weeks now, am excited about my little bro's visit, and am trying not to stress with everything being up in the air. Depending on the job that comes around, I will either work a crappy job and leave for grad school in the fall, or I will get a good job and defer for a year and go next year. I think So keep me in prayers, and I am confident I will land on my feet.

Well, I will leave you now with a few pics from one of the shoots I did for trade that ending up being a waste of time as this guy has never heard of post work and can't shoot entirely in focus, so I can't use them for a portfolio, but they aren't bad for a blog Plus, it was the first time I had played with latex body paint, so that was kind of cool, despite the fact that I smelled like a condom the rest of the day (which involved me blowing out a tire on the side of the road, as always in heels, and having to rely on the kindness of strangers!)
