One thing I'm noticing about breakups is that when you have something you feel you need to get off your chest, when you just HAVE to tell your side of things, communicate and clarify your perspective of how things are going / supposed to go down, the other person probably and usually doesn't care. Chances are they feel like they feel justified and clarified, like they've said what they needed to.
And then you say your piece and you feel good, and the pendulum swings the other direction.
I felt pretty good after this morning's interaction, which, I figure, means she's stewing / hating / crying. I'd call it a talk; I'm guessing she'd call it an argument. I didn't mean to do that to her, but if there's ever a time that better-you-than-me is an unavoidable inevitability, its a breakup.
