i decided i only like exciting bands now. i came to this realization last night, seeing the last 5 minutes of the dwarves show. most of my friends like indie rock, and so do i, but a lot of those shows give me a severe case of the yawnies.
i've been totally feeling the same way lately. it's like indie rock is becoming too emo for me (at least to see live). i need some gut-busting, carnal music now (i think this is why i've been re-listening to a lot of Prodigy lately).
that's why i want to start a new band whose sole purpose it is, is to make music that makes people want to dance, drink, and go out and fuck after the show. enough soul searching music for now.
