I once considered doing a degree in acoustics at Southampton, but found out that they were very good at weeding out the hi-fi nutters. You may find that if you re-take an A level they will let you in even if you don't reach a points total as it shows a level of commitment that most applicants won't have. The other thing you could do is get into Salford, kick-arse in the first year then transfer to Southampton (might work in the second year too).

Hey, at least you have a plan, never really had one of those myself until pretty recently.

good luck dude, hope it goes well. northampton ain't great but it could be worse. applied for a job with celestion but it didn't work out.

my sister is at salford at the moment doing business something or other. seems like its a pretty good place.

know what you mean about the touts. i refuse to buy tickets off ebay cos of the same reason. saw them in london in december , they were ace but the crwod was rubbish. a mass of denim and top-shop chic. hated it. almost felt out of place wink

Have you considered an online course? Several US Based universities do them, and you wind up with the degree you want smile
