I have no idea how the misfits and johnny cash correlate. I even checked the covers project to see if there were some cover songs between the misfits and johnny cash and there don't seem to be, but i did find this very bare link: http://www.last.fm/music/Johnny%2520Cash%2520(Tribute%2520to%2520Misfits%252FDanzig) maybe that's where they got it.
