iseult:
Ah, well if you ever come over to the UK, let us know and an honourary membership might be arranged. I know a few people have got them and remain members after they leave again in case they ever come back over and want another piss-up. biggrin
shellymc:
What is "Blackadder"?
seriously...
you have me stumped!
voile:
Karaoke with the Toronto SG crew is hilarious smile I look forward to it every monday.
blyddyn:
Yeah, a SG re-enactors group, now do we limit it to serious fighters and living history people, or do you allow SCA in as well ? I think that they've got their own group and, well, Society for Creative Anachronism - they make no apology for inconsistencies.

And Baldric, especially in the first series, rocks !

Oh yeah, and isn't that Blackbeard Teach ?

shellymc:
you did indeed stump me...
the last english show i got into was "AbFab"...
haven't kept up with television shows in so long, because i was watching so many movie channels.
Did you know that Rowan Atkinson once sang a duet with Kate Bush for some program?
I once heard it on one of her fan sites...
and it was quite funny!
I just with i could remember what show it was for...
i would love to get my hands on it biggrin
lycoris:
Poor puppy!! frown
shellymc:
how are things?
vindice:
You are right about European travel. How glad I am to be European! That said, you guys can scoot around America on in-land flights that cost shrapnel, whereas for a short city break say, London to Paris, you end up paying taxes that are, like, 11 times the price of the flight itself.
shellymc:
I kid you not...
Kate and Rowan...
strangest duo i have ever heard, but really funny!
blyddyn:
Yeah, let's do it ! How do we go about it ?
shellymc:
remember months ago, when you were asking me about Nina Hagen?
well... i still don't know how to link people to stuff whatever
but if you head over to this guys journal, he links you to the Nina Hagen page on myspace.. so if you are up for checking out some of her stuff.. i highly recommend listening to her version of "My Way" biggrin
so when you have a chance, drop by here....Lord_Frous
bahleated:
Aw, hun. Give her time, and lots of luv. She'll come around.

In the meantime, have you considered getting her a wheelchair, or something similar to help her get around a little easier and take the weight off her legs and spine? A friend of my aunt's got one for their Sheltie, a year ago, from this site.
blyddyn:
I just submitted the group for approval, it' called "Re-enactors Asylum," and I'll let you know how things progress.
blyddyn:
Bugger. The group got turned down. You want to try, now ?
shellymc:
not a big fan of driving myself biggrin
Cars equal out to a big pain in the ass.
How have you been?
and what did you think of Nina?
getting ready to leave for work soon...
have a good weekend!
How is Sadie doing?
vindice:
I'm hearing some disturbing propoganda about pasteurisation here.... wink
vaux:
Well, the syntax is weird...but I'm getting better at it tongue
blyddyn:
Hi, any luck with the group ?
blyddyn:
Thou art notified by e-mail as to whether thy group has been approved or not.
shellymc:
how was your weekend?
and not trying to be nosey, but couldn't help noticing Blyddyns question....
what kind of group are you trying to start?
hhmm... yeah, i guess i'm just nosy wink
merry:
Thank you! biggrin

I was confused at first, but then I looked at your pics and saw all the dogs, so I figured it out. wink
shellymc:
no need to apoligize about being busy!
so when did you apply for the group?
and "Luther the geek" came out in 1989, so its not the Tyrone powers flick..
but that one does sound pretty intriguing biggrin
voile:
Do you still exist?
merry:
Thank you! It would be cooler still if they'd pay me. tongue
blyddyn:
Anything new, brother ?
