No, there was no NIN show.. But there will be one in June smile

You always have such nice sounding Sundays. So very domestic lol. I like that smile

And what the heck is that you had for dinner???
iseult:
Gosh, I'm already too fertile without dances helping things along! shocked

I'm glad you've had a good Easter and that spiced rum looks nice! love

Have a lovely week. kiss
shellymc:
That meal looks amazing! love
You and Dorian could have a cookoff!
Looks like you have some mad culinary skills yourself.
I cannot remember, were you in the restaurant business at one point?
I've been thinking about looking into cashing in my 401K as well.
i know i shouldn't, but i don't think we are going to be able to ever save up enough money to buy our own home.
To much debt!
I know you once said that sometimes they don't penalize you to heavy if your looking to buy a home.
I feel like i would rather own something...than have that money sit there til i'm 67.
In which case, i'll probably be to old and sickly to even travel
jena:

Did you see this one!? She is too much...and her belly is very pink...I die around here a lot these days...

I had a lovely time with my man, thank you so much. blush

Your meal there looks lovely! Did you make it!? Yay! I fucking hate polenta but I can imagine those guys are fancy sweet carrots. That makes me happier. blush
jordan:
awe, thanks, man!!! biggrin kiss
dorwayin:
my, that's some tastey looking quisiene you got there. we have all three items on our menu now. eeek
voile:
ha ha... live the dream for you. You know, if I ever actually got a chance to do that... with Trent Reznor, in particular.... I would most likely pee my pants from being so nervous, and consequently spoil any chance of fornicating with said rock star. shocked

That dinner looks yuuuuummy! Wanna stick the leftovers in an envelop and mail them to me? biggrin
blyddyn:
That's OK, what period do you re-enact ? Looks 19th century to me, so ACW ?
voile:
Kudos and kisses for you kiss kiss smile
shellymc:
the whole debt thing seems to be pretty common!
and trying to save any money living in MA. is damn near impossible.
But i appreciate your advice!
yes... this weekend i get to meet up with Hola and Mike.
Fingers crossed i don't bore the hell out of them biggrin
I'm looking forward to meeting with them, Mike was one of my top five first real friends on this site before i met a lot of other folks here....when i was still kind of a noob biggrin
what are your plans this weekend?
voile:
*GASP!!* I love musicals!! Who'd have thought. You see, I'm like an onion... wink

My friend Adrienne and I used to sing that song together all the time. We were really big nerds.
jena:

Thank you so much for the well wishes and love for my engagement, awwww!!! YAY! Thank you! And for the record, my friend who got roughed up deserved a wake up call. It wasn't a random expression of disgust.

Yeah it was like this semi-instant thing, a feeling of contentment...wow. Seems about time. blush

I noticed you bought Jordan's book-cool! When you read it please be sure to tell me about it. I look forward to buying one and checking it out. Broke as a joke right now and must save up for my passport, flight tickets to visit, marriage Visa, getting my kitties' health certificates, etc.....and a lot more. Woof. Someone will not be having many party-nights-out soon!!! tongue tongue tongue eeek

More potraits of the Polly-Sugar coming very soon! She posed for some lovely ones with mama today, yay!

Hope you're having a good week! miao!!
blyddyn:
Ah, 1777 -83, eh ? Well, my period now is 1250 - 1345, but when I started in 1982, it was Napolenic French. In fact, I remember a battle at Saffron Walden where the NA was playing support to some American War of Independance re-enactors, I think it was around 88 or 89 - were you there ? I remember on that event the 7th foot singing "Men of Harlech" outside a pub, and the 21e de ligne, (my old Regiment,) replying with a Zulu war chant. Oh yes, and I also won a chamber pot there, and got it filled with beer at a pub. About six pints as I remember. Ah, happy days....

I just sat here and laughed my ass off.....
*wipes tear from eye*

surreal Are you being, like, sarcastic or something? surreal

Well, no fertility dancing on my part, but I did go on an easter egg hunt around my parent's garden. blush

blyddyn:
No, nothing so flash - I'm the senior sergeant of a Free Company - mercenary and proud of it. As to how, well, I started doing a bit of viking back in '89 when I still lived in Britain as a change from Napoleonic which was getting too military and not as much fun. I moved to Germany in January '01, and it took me some time to find a group as the set-up here is a little different - it's mostly medieval markets and no combat. But then I found a group run by another Brit 18 months ago, and life is back to normal ....
voile:
WOW! Well I admit I'm not THAT big an aficionado of musicals... that is better left to Adrienne (who is an actress)... but I enjoy them when I see them smile

Yep she's my longest running friend (18 years), whom I still talk to on a regular basis and with whom I still have a lot in common with. She's a riot. She's been in London for the past two or three years trying to get her acting career started (stage acting), but she's not having any luck and her visa ran out so she's coming home this summer and will attempt to get into Stratford. smile
