shellymc:

eeek hhmm..... i had my suspicions!
dorwayin:

I have actually seen DRI twice wink
voile:
It def-def-def-def-defintately def-def-definately has to do with your new sexy profile pic. biggrin
sky:
I spent all the emergency money in a week, oops! xxx
iseult:
A mix CD? Ah yes, you're definitely dating. Watch yourself if he asks you to go for a walk with him, 'to get some fresh air'. wink

I hope you're having a good week. kiss
voile:
thanks for the love.
darke:
heh, if you read me & shelly's comments from last night, that's about all the info right now... I've applied for grouphood, no reply yet
darke:
nevermind... mad
darke:
they will never kill narcissistic ennui, not so long as I draw breath... and then exhale in apathetic tedium biggrin
shellymc:
I never even entertained the idea!
though i would have liked to have started the cult film group (which of course was already on here when i joined)
But i'm not so sure how i would be as a film critic... i like way too many movies and have a hard time being judgemental if i can find one or two redeeming factors in a film biggrin
What are your plans for the weekend?
bahleated:
Gods, I loved punk in the 90's (I loved the 80's too, but I was a wee lass at the time, and likely hadn't heard any of it, yet)! biggrin
shellymc:
I'm with you on the whole being selfish thing when it comes to personal downtime...
sometimes.. and i hate to admit this.. i wish i lived in another state altogether so i didn't have to deal with my family so much whatever
sounds cruel, but my family can be a bit of a downer.
Well... try and have a good time this weekend..
I'm looking forward to my dinner date with the SG folks, but i always get a bit nervous meeting new people.
shellymc:
we are on the same wavelength wink
One of my better qualities... is that i've always been upfront and honest with people regarding how selfish i actually am.
Thus the reason i chose never too have children... ( well, that...and plus i think the majority of them are brats tongue )
But yeah... i like my alone time.
thankfully, i have a husband that respects that too.
shellymc:
I wish you guys lived closer...
then you could meet up with us at the restaurant.
See... some folks i don't mind hanging out with wink
shellymc:
i certainly did!
good ol Gretchen biggrin
lycoris:
Well it is a nice new profile pic. wink

In reply to your comment from the 26th (oops):

lycoris:
Ocracoke island looks ... bleak? I still want to go to the Carribean. wink I was really tempted by a tall ship I sailed with as a teenager (oh god, I'm not one anymore and haven't been for some time, but suddenly I feel old) as they sail the Carribean in the winter. It's only $3000 ... sure ... If only!
vaux:
Mmmmmeh....I dunno. She's always got a pretty full schedule, this girl...ever fall for a girl who's ggot a bunch of guy friends that seem to circle her like a shark? It's like...intensely weird.

I've got no urge to be a shark, so I figure I'll just leave for a bit...maybe she'll try and look for me, maybe not. But honestly, I can't take feeling like some sorta...I dunno. Ungodly predator. It's just...so ick!
katrina:
Hi!
Reflections on your reactions on my answear to that quiz:

1. Debates, mostly. That's why I love it! I can almost always turn it on and listen to something interesting. They can have debates about the most ridculous things but they do it really calm and proper, so it's nice to listen to it. Gives me many new perspectives on politics, culture, society etc

2. biggrin

3. Yeah, right? Because you now, they are really romantic and trashy and it seems like there will be a forever flow of books.

4. It's like, what's the meaning of showering if I'm gonna be all covered in dust in just a little while. I love cleaning the whole apartment till every little part of it sparkles (well...almost) and then go have a bath.
