Yay I'm finally free of Verizon. Fuckers couldn't even give me a phone that works. Hopefully T-mobile won't give me too many problems. *crosses fingers*
So I've been doing ok. My car wounds have pretty much healed and I'm a lot less sore. I can't wait for my bike to come back from the shop so I can start riding again. As for the guy that hit me no luck finding him and lets be serious it's not like the police are knocking themselves out looking for him. I mean felony hit and run...come on that takes too much effort. They might as well stop teenagers for not completely stopping at the stop sign by my house.
For some reason I've really been on a Stephen Malkmus kick lately...not Pavement so much but Stephen Malkmus. He's oddly soothing to me.
As for my love life that Leah girl has disappeared off of the face of the earth...well except her myspace page updates. No response to my few phone calls, my text message, or email asking if everything is ok. So I just figure she's ignoring me for some reason beyond me. I mean it's not like we had some major falling out and my attempts at contacting her have been about once a week not multiple messages a day like some sort of creep.
On the other hand my friend Kelly had been a stellar friend. I'm kind of sad to see her go to North Carolina in few months.
As a final note I have to make some general observations that I've started to notice.
1st - There are a shit load of fat people in Ann Arbor. I mean we're not talking a little over weight, we're talking seriously obese. When did this happen?
2nd - When driving I have noticed that something like 2 in 3 drivers are on cell phones and as a result are driving in a diminished capacity. It's not even in a particular majority. I see teenagers, old people, men, women, everyone seems to have a cell phone that they have to be talking on while driving.
Ok I'm done those two things just have stuck out in my mind for the last few weeks.
