I used to hate driving, but after driving back and forth to NH 5-6 times a year for racing I've learned to deal with it. Lots of music, regular stops to walk around and lots of sugar.
The media is just starting to get upset about it. It's totally fucked up, they've given way more ink to Jennifer Hudson or the Olympic bid than this, and this is outrageous. If you can't trust the police to keep you safe life becomes pretty scary.
In the first incident 6 off duty cops were beating up this businessman in a bar. The bar patrons called 911. Patrol officers responded, and when they got there the off duty assholes "talked" to them and the patrol officers left. And the off duty guys went back to beating on the dude. Ridiculous.
