I actually own a 2 stroke! , an old Yamaha RZ250R, as it goes (I just can't fucking help myself) I have all the bits to do a 350 conversion, as well as currently fitting RGV USD front end and a trick RGV banana Swing arm.
Just sold a fairly quick VL turbo, my only income at the moment is selling stuff on ebay , so she was a bit of a financial liabillity and had to go.
What sort of nissan box is in your car? I think I have heard of 240k boxes being used before (if it is an old conversion). My mate has a HG 186 with a Supra box behind it. Has made it a totally different car!
I have heard the commodore gearboxes are a bit yukky. Maybe go for a different diff ratio? then again if you are putting the V6 in(I like the way you think), I spose it will bolt straight up, Oh by the way The VL 5 speed is a nissan box (not a T5 like most people think) the turbo box goes by the designation MX7 and the Late model skyline and GTR internals fit! (a lot closer gear ratios though only really good for high revving engines).
I know how you feel about Centrelink ( I havn't dealt with them for years myself but I have seen what my 18yo brother has been put through), It seams that the more you try to have a go the harder they make it for you. As far as assets go, it is like if you have a bit behind you you are punished for it, but if some loser has blown everything gambling or pissed it up the wall or somthing, they bend over backwards for them.
