I got to see this classic horror film on a big screen today in a great 35mm print. It's always been one of my favorites, ever since I saw it, as a kid, on TV. It's amazing how well it still plays, even after 80 plus years. The direction by James Whale is top notch. The story is over the top surreal. And the cast--Ernest Thesinger, Colin Clive, and of course Boris Karloff, are all outstanding. The scene where the bride is brought to life was made to be seen on a big screen. The sound editing alone was phenomenal. So yeah. Glad I saw it!

@felicity I am not a big fan of old movies but the Universal monster films are great! I really like films made in the late 60s and 70s. I guess you could say they are "old" movies.
