My advise....and please dont take it.... fuck school go for the experience. Find who it is that you want to learn from....do what ever it takes to get the gig! The name of the the great you rubbed shoulders with will ALWAYS be more impressive then the fucking name of the bullshit school!!
You are a chem major, so you could be a freelance chemist; of course, that ususally means winding up on a FBI list though. Tried making soap? I heard if you use enough bullshit in your advertising, you can heinously overcharge people by making it sound like you have "special, organic soap"; maybe it's made by a small indigenious tribe in uruagay or blessed by a Navajo medicine man. People around where I live do the exact same thing with candles; they bilk the ever loving hell out of tourists.
