I guess I'm long overdue for a new blog...
The weather finally flipped to winter, cold, blustery, but still without snow. And on that happy note, we're dropping everything and heading south for a couple of weeks.
Because we own real estate in Texas and Louisiana, and have never actually been to the properties, this seemed like a great time to go and call it business. Of course we'll do a bunch of fun stuff along the way. First stop, visit Amberetta in KC, then on to Dallas and San Antonio. Then on to Houston where we have tickets to see the Aeros. New Orleans next with reservations at Emeril Lagasse's NOLA restaurant among other things. Then Shreveport, Memphis, St Louis, Madison and home.
We're excited.

This little girl is driving me nuts!!! She wont just sit down and chill out!! I've had to change her bandages more than needed because she wants to jump on the couch or her bed etc. SO frustrating. I am going to call her doc tomorrow and see if she can look at Brookie's leg. The skin that is trying to be reattached looks like its grey to me. I hope its going to stick. That would make for one hell of a scar!! =(

She went to school today after her looooooong weekend. I'm kind of worried about her there. I hope none of the other kids will kick her. You know how some kids can be assholes and all. I got a call from the school telling me that she was hurting. We'll see when she gets home though... =/ Oy.
