This morning I had to go to the Landlord and Tenant Board for the re-scheduled hearing between myself and my previous Landlord.
I got there, armed with all the picture evidence of the moldy bathroom that they refused to acknowledge / fix.
The Landlord, didn't even show up for the hearing.
According to the rules, if one party doesn't show, the adjudicator will rule against the no-show.
So, I won.
The adjudicator will void the lease from the previous Landlord, and I owe him, wait for it...
NOTHING !!!!
Small victory for moi.
He could still possibly try to take me to small claims court, but I'll just have to wait for that.
