I'm an old friend of Maxx. I just got home from seeing Elliot Smith and he was so fucked up and completely out of touch with reality. He seemed like to he was on tons of heroin. Did he seem like that when you saw him perform? I'm a big fan, and I think he's incredibly talented,but I've never seen him live before. I wrote something about this in my journal. It really bothered me.
