You know what? I'm happy to be me. I have all you wonderful people and a few more besides as friends. I have a job where I make enough money to take care of myself without having to be beholden to anyone. I have two great cats, a place to live, I'm as healthy as anyone else I know.

I have fun. I have a brain with which I can do whatever I want.

Sure, at times things are tough for me, just as they are for anyone, but the bad times always pass, eventually, and when they're over, there are still good times to be had.

The universe is a place of infinite and wonderful possibilities. I could choose to live my life in fear, because some truly awful things have happened to me, just as they have to all of you. I've made stupid decisions, I've done horrible things, too. But tomorrow comes, and everything changes.

Give me a place to stand, and I shall move the world. Or at least, I shall move myself.

Be happy, all of you. You deserve to be. And it's better than the alternative, after all. Just choose to realise that as bad as things can be, as bad as they are, as bad as they could get, you're still you, a fantastically wonderful person (if you weren't wonderful, you wouldn't be my friend )
