Getting second place in the first game of poker is deadly. you make just enough to break even, but it coaxes you into playing more. and then you have a few more drinks and end up placing (actually quite respectably, given the number of players) third in the next two games, and they don't give you any money for third. and suddenly you're a broke ass sucka. From now on, we're playing Risk.

i can't believe that i only learned about the riots in france today. …
i've never been good at poker.
at first i thought it was easy and all about the cards you were given. now i know theres a lot more to it.
And then BOTH times, I had about 2 drinks too many and just completely lost it. metaphorically and literally.
Oh, and apparently that text message wasn't as funny to Jordan, who knows a girl whose place WAS actually broken into, and the two guys made her do that...But I laughed anyway.
