I live for the good fight, and I grew up in Eugene, where as I child, the Animal House still existed. They razed the building and put up a rotten brick structure. Ish.
By the way, your statement is indicative of a sign off, as in "I'm going now, but you people keep on fighting the good fight." I hope that is not the case, my militant and eclectic friend.
I understand. I have found liberation lately in deleting (when I do it intentionally ) those who I don't "fit" with, and those who don't stimulate active thought. I play the funny man frequently, most likely because it is the most simple feeling/emotion/thought, etc; however I honestly like the interaction on here.
I actually used to be more militant, but I was not the most rational or selective about my battles. I suppose I am no less militant then, just better informed.
I said this in a fellow's journal today. I looked in the mirror, in the bathroom of my house, at the balding guy who was wearing my Vans and finally understood the song, "Same as it Ever Was" by the Talking Heads. I don't know if you will relate or not, but aging really blows.
That does suck, but my Celtics came back strong and delivered the worst play off defeat that the Pacers have ever had, thus tying the series at 2-2. I was less than dissappointed
Good morning! Well, I'm not a big fan of John Stewart (his "delivery face" bugs the heck out of me) but he had a pretty good Bush-ism the other night, regarding the Prez' stand on elimiating fossil fuel reliance, and going to....(wait...) coal. No, really. I am baffled....
Yes, the tattoos, how I love them. I like to think that no money is good, and that the quicker I get rid of it/spend it, the better off I'll be...much to the consternation of my bride(our kids sure don't mind though!)
Hah! I waited until today, to reply to yesterday's journal regarding you not posting in the journal from the day before! Let's see if you're clear on that one!
I prefer to keep on fighting the good food fight. The food fight for the people! Storm the castles of the tyrannical lunch ladies! Though some of us will die in a hail of peas and carrots, the rest shall be victorious and live a life of freedom.
Sorry about that. I've been at work all day and at this point 90% of what I say is gibberish. I hope that all is well in your neck of the woods. Have a good one!

Have a great week/weekend.
