I live for the good fight, and I grew up in Eugene, where as I child, the Animal House still existed. They razed the building and put up a rotten brick structure. Ish.

By the way, your statement is indicative of a sign off, as in "I'm going now, but you people keep on fighting the good fight." I hope that is not the case, my militant and eclectic friend.

Have a great week/weekend. smile

I understand. I have found liberation lately in deleting (when I do it intentionally wink ) those who I don't "fit" with, and those who don't stimulate active thought. I play the funny man frequently, most likely because it is the most simple feeling/emotion/thought, etc; however I honestly like the interaction on here.

I actually used to be more militant, but I was not the most rational or selective about my battles. I suppose I am no less militant then, just better informed.

I said this in a fellow's journal today. I looked in the mirror, in the bathroom of my house, at the balding guy who was wearing my Vans and finally understood the song, "Same as it Ever Was" by the Talking Heads. I don't know if you will relate or not, but aging really blows. smile
loslope:
Speaking of the Memphis and Vancouver clubs, the first rule of Fight Club...
thelastbeliever:
Either way. Keep fighting

Your entries are small yet thought-provoking and endlessly amusing... my stomach is a little upset, the semen today has a bite to it

missmontana:
Throws banana.... ooo aaa
awryx:

darklis:
Food is fun to fight with. smile
xip:
Thanks... any help anyone could give on the self-publishing venture would be groovy

I haven't seen a good food fight in forever. biggrin
delihound:
pazoweee! take that corporate america!
loslope:
Happy Monday, my fine friend. How did the two day respite treat you? Hope that all is well, and that it only continues to get better. biggrin
solaris:
it used to, but now it's locked out of the bedroom at night. i can still see the fiendish desires in it's eyes though.
loslope:
That does suck, but my Celtics came back strong and delivered the worst play off defeat that the Pacers have ever had, thus tying the series at 2-2. I was less than dissappointed biggrin
loslope:
Good morning! Well, I'm not a big fan of John Stewart (his "delivery face" bugs the heck out of me) but he had a pretty good Bush-ism the other night, regarding the Prez' stand on elimiating fossil fuel reliance, and going to....(wait...) coal. No, really. I am baffled.... biggrin
elektra_descends:
Do you have your own song? One that you hear in your head when you are strolling somewhere?

Mine is the theme from Sanford and Son and has been since
Jr. High School.

elektra_descends:
Everyone always says that I should have my own theme.
I guess that is a huge complement even if it is a spazzy tune!
loslope:
How about "keep on fighting the good food?" There is something to be said for one star cuisine...no? whatever
loslope:
Yes, the tattoos, how I love them. I like to think that no money is good, and that the quicker I get rid of it/spend it, the better off I'll be...much to the consternation of my bride(our kids sure don't mind though!) biggrin
loslope:
Hah! I waited until today, to reply to yesterday's journal regarding you not posting in the journal from the day before! Let's see if you're clear on that one! wink biggrin
elektra_descends:
I ate a mango today. It wa very good!
No, it was damn good!
thebing:
the only good fight is a food fight
wingnut80:
I prefer to keep on fighting the good food fight. The food fight for the people! Storm the castles of the tyrannical lunch ladies! Though some of us will die in a hail of peas and carrots, the rest shall be victorious and live a life of freedom.

Sorry about that. I've been at work all day and at this point 90% of what I say is gibberish. I hope that all is well in your neck of the woods. Have a good one!
