Butt Numb A Thon 6 is already costing me a pretty penny.
The only hotel available in downtown Austin that was within walking distance of the Alamo Drafthouse ended up costing me in the 3 digit range....yea, there's plenty cheaper out there, but I dont want to risk relying on the normally decent bus service. At least this way, I'm mere blocks from my destination, and I pass a favorite Mexican eats, too! Breakfast burritos, anyone, TexMex style?! Ohyes.
Travel also cost in the triple digits, but last minute accomodations....
Then, of course, the admission/donation cost....
Ladies and gentlemen(?), it's but a mere month away. Greatest. Film. "Festival". Ever.
I can't believe I'm going again. It's insane.
For Harry's birthday gift, I have an artist we both like doing a piece for him....but ssssh. Noone tell him.
Shelved the comic book, we're simply too busy and I'm too burned out. I'm tossing around other ideas.
Heard from Doug about the music video....he'll be sending me an advance copy sometime by the end of the year, and early next year we'll shoot the video. Bob willing, I'll convince an SG to star as we'll ride the SG name train to higher download numbers. Hopefully it'll boost the album sales.
Thinking of Doug, I met a friend of his indirectly, and we've been speaking/calling nightly for about a month...she's wonderfully wonderful, except for that whole OTHER GODDAMNED CORNER OF THE US thing...and the cold weather....and wanting kids someday...
