You know, $70 doesn't seem that bad at all for a custom-made Link get-up. I can't afford it, but I might consider it if I had an income.

I think it's funny that it's designed for a girl, on a female mannequin and everything. I know the whole cosplay thing is a huge deal, though, so maybe I shouldn't be surprised.

The part of the new site that really burns me up is the teeny tiny display of friends' journals, just three at a time and only a few lines of each. I'm trying to be hopeful that they'll listen to the huge number of people unhappy about it and make it better. The whole "home" page needs help, really. I don't need to see my messages (and an ad, blech!) at the top, I rarely get messages. And the friends'/bookmarked people's pictures is good and bad. There could be some really nasty stuff in my friends' photo albums.

I've been accessing this from a five year old laptop, so my take on the colors probably isn't the same as most peoples. It's hard enough to see other web sites, so I'm going to hold my judgment on that until I get back onto my desktop. I've been using the beta for some time, so I'm already used to it. There are things I don't like as much, some things I like more, but I haven't seen anything that makes me feel as huffy as some of the people on the boards seem to be. I don't see what's so MySpacey aside from the Top 5 friends. And people are getting really pissed about things that are obviously bugs, not permanent features, which tells me people are looking for a reason not to find SG "cool". I say t'hell with'em.
