I lived on the Big Island from '80 to '84. It was interesting. My parents made most of their money by growing pot. You could actually get away with having a huge field of it there back then. We lived in this hippy town called Wood Valley way out in the sticks. It was awesome. Then we moved back to the mainland.
I moved to Kauai in my Senior year of High School ('94). I lived there for 3 months while my mom was training for a job. Then we moved to Maui. That's where Rob and I met (he had moved over after spending his summers there with his dad). We couldn't really make it there on what we were making so we moved to Oregon. We both miss it and we're all ready to move. My mom and brother are there and there the only close family I have left. I can't wait. We just need to clean up some bills and save some money first. But no matter what, we're going.
