you're lucky you don't live in los angeles, where seemingly everyone is either pop cultured out or music and movie snobs. both are quite pathetic in my book.

Damn when I meet someone, I want to be introduced to something I've never heard before and vice versa. Be openminded. There's more than enough out there don't get stuck on your one favorite album from 10 years ago or the latest and greatest just because it's selling the most.
