Well I got a new page for Stormblazer done today....... I also came up with a really cool character concept that I pitched to the head of the Ultimate Comics Group's editors (the group that's contracted to SMASH! Comics). I think I sold it well.... though it is still pretty much in the development stage.
Speaking of Development I got to speak with the designer for Ultimate Comic Group's website. The initial images were recieved for the site today. She is planning on starting the actual designing tomorrow (weeeee!).
As a feature for the site I'm trying to get a web comic up. Simular to Marvel's E-comics for the most part. I'm in the midst of putting together a pitch story together. It has to be an original story since it'd have to be somehow in continuity, and it has to be broken up into 8 page chapters (for convienience factor mainly). I would try to take full advantage of the "Art Director" position I've aquired in the Ultimate Comics Group, however I have two reasons not to do so 1) if anyone's time gets wasted if this idea flounders it'll be mine. 2) I'd like to have something out there to help hype up the issues I'm doing in the initial 7 issue run (though it might be the lesser of the two reasons).
I'm also still thinking of the comissioned art, and I have a pretty decent idea of what I can charge now. So anyone out there who's interested feel free to email me for details. Though I still need to update my online portfolio.... I really can't keep using Stormblazer pages when I pump them out..... that'd kind of kill the element of suprise to the story (duh!!)...... anyway until next time..... agent "Whitebread" out...... end transmission.
