DAILY HOLDEN-O-METER: Holden. . .was sad today, because no matter how he cuts it, he can't find enough classes to create a full course load for the current semester. He was so sad that he had to take a nap, screwing up his sleep cycle once again, despite being "on call" for work, hoping that his cell phone ringer would wake him up. (Luckily, no one ever called, which isn't bad, considering that he got paid $18 to do nothing. ). His only viable option at this point is to take two classes that overlap by 10-15 minutes, hoping that one of the professors will be reasonable and let Holden leave early or arrive late.

Holden survived another four-mile walk today, listening to his old reliable "All Things Considered" on NPR from WUOM, Ann Arbor, MI. (It's not that difficult, really. ) Unfortunately, there was no additional loss of weight, but that should change soon, as Holden changes his breakfast from low-fat, scrambled eggs, ham and cheese to non-fat cereal with fat-free Lactaid milk. Still holding at 218lbs. with 28lbs. to go.
