Hays. That's a great name, really the only book I liked by Salinger... the rest assumed a little too much precociousness on the characters.
about the sharing thing which you mentioned, I think it's definitely in the interest of people who are going to post to get their own accounts, but it gets tiresome hearing all the members clamor in so they can show they 'know the rules'...
It's not as if I'm arguing my way out of a double homicide, it's not a big deal.
Cat's make you happy. Thats cool. (I've had three cats named after characters from books, and one was named Zooey...)
who told you I was a liberal.
Was it the kerry campaign?!? Damn them and their mailing list!!! Was it Rob Andrews?!? Damn that first congressional district!!!
Aw thank you for coming to my page to greet me personally, when I joined your group. how nice of you! Yeah, I am sick of being the only liberal person around. My college is really conservative so I get very sick of the people there. I look forward to having some good discussions with you guys. Have a good day then!
no, not a lutheran college, that's no place for an atheist! It's a generic non-affiliated community college... but for whatever reason whenever we have class discussions I am the only one who thinks the needle exchange program is a good idea, or that the mayor of S.F. CA is the coolest guy ever- Gay people should definately have the right to marry, I don't even see why it's an issue when it's no one's business but theirs.. And gasp, alot of these same people think that G.W. should be re-elected!!!! What in the hell? Anyway, I'm going to River Falls, WI. in the fall and from visits to that school I can tell it's going to be really conservative too. But hey maybe I can go in there and get crazy and show them what I'm all about.. and maybe I'll even get a few people to question the conservative values their parents enstilled in them.
