Today is Yom Ha'atzmaut, Israel's Independence Day. Over the past eight months, I have dealt again and again with the incredible balagan that is Israel, and the headaches that go with living here. And my love for the Land has done nothing but grow. This land is the beating heart of a people very close to my own (heart). I have seen it a hundred times, but I still cry like a baby every time I watch Ben Gurion lean over the table and sign.
