I love this topic @missy and @rambo because I am a huge fashion junkie, However I don't have just a single fashion icon. This topic made me really think, and it just occured to me that my inspirations are many things such as characters from movies, different eras, tumblr, lookbooks, photography etc. Obviously I can't fit everything I love in a collage so here is some besides the obvious Elvira, Morticia Addams, Lydia Deetz, Bettie Page etc... ;)
As a small girl growing up my mother always wore/wears black and dressed me in black a lot, as I still do today, I am heavily influenced by goth and dark creepy things (as a kid for christmas i asked for the movies Edward Scissorhands, Nightmare before Christmas, Beetlejuice and others), along with cute kawaii girly things. I also am loving the innocent lolita looks as well as 90s grunge. As for the crazy side along with the 90s grunge my favorite movie Party Monster also influences me on fashion, I love the originality and the empowerment of wearing your feelings and not giving a fuck. Lastly, as of lately, the "earthy/witchy" trend has also struck my interest which also ties with Misty Day from AHS Coven (love her outfits, and the boho look!!) I live in a small Southeastern Ohio town and always have raised eyebrows for my looks but have accepted this is me, and I am not changing for anyone.
