Last Friday (the bank holiday) we played Sorceror's Crusade where I'm a kooky street urchin and part-time prostitute who learned her pagan magic of an old lady in the poor quarter who's now shacked up with a gifted artisan to serve as his muse. This Saturday we played Marvel where I'm playing an estranged Ozzy teenager with deadly electric powers who accidentally ended up in bed with a classmate after a heavy night drinking tequila in the Bronx. Excellent fun and soap-opera elements to both games, but I can't help feeling the irony that my fictional personas are getting more action than the real me... *sigh* surreal tongue

Not much to report otherwise. Dr Who again Saturday night, and TBH I was much more impressed with this one that the first episode. Caught up with my folks and a few friends yesterday. Still waiting for various EBay things to arrive in the post. Still no word on the board game. Still talking about writing and not actually doing it. Still trying to piece together costumes and cash for the sci-fi con I'm off to in a few weeks. wink

Not much happening this week but a gig and a club on Friday followed by some SGUK fun on Saturday. Arrr, roll on the weekend already!! ARRR!!! biggrin

in a way i think that reality is more subjective since our personal experiences and perceptions tend to define the way we view the world and the people in it.
out of curiosity, do you think that karma is something moreso experienced in this life or the next?
i've often pondered this question because despite the many times i notice something good or bad happening as a result of a certain action i notice just as many things (usually more) that seem to happen without just cause.
