I've just started watching The Wire and have to say its very well written.

Good luck sorting out what you want. Im 26 and trying to figure that out now, i think im having a mid 20's crisis biggrin

MaRk made me watch the BSG movie last night (the first one).

I liked but did find the pacing a little slow. it felt slightly over self indulgent. I'll give the tv show ago though.

then, you BSG'ers may distane me, but can not complain!
aesirr:
Good luck with sorting stuff out dude. I hope you manage to direct 2009 where you want.
coldandwet:
Thanks for the message dude. Hope to see you at my next meet!
rdpixie:
I have also decided that 2009 will be a focussed year coming off of the fantastic Canada trip. I have set lots of goals. I have however also seemingly spent the next fews months pay checks on things I don't need and gig tickets. Oh dear....

I was completely planning to watch Being Human then fantastically forgot! Must catch it on iPlayer too!
the_happy_pig:
I'm happy with the moniker of the hogan's son. biggrin

Catch you over the weekend?
squee:
At this rate, yep, I think you're gonna be right!
squee:
Oh awesome, thank you for letting me know. I don't think I have that channel but my mate who I've been watching it with does. Hopefully we're gonna fit in another Dexter day next week, yay! (I know, i'm sad, lol)
leola:
Are you going to write that novel then, do you think? I'm trying to do that too...

What happened is that my contract ended at my job and wasn't renewed cos frankly I sucked at it... and the man and me needed space. Bum. Bum. Bum.
leola:
Yeah, thanks, you're very right. I think I do understand what he's feeling... I use the term space quite loosely. There's a lot going on in his world right now and whether it helps or not sometimes we feel the only way to clear our thoughts is to be alone. Thanks though, your comment makes me feel a little better.

I wish I could come to the meet but I promised little sister I'd go and visit her oop north. A bit of family time will be very good for me I think. I hope there will be another meet soon - it has been an age since I went to one!

kiss
zamuzel:
A little bit of mixing and mastering. Won't be much longer wink
aesirr:
I shall think of you dude.

I will be there on Saturday indeed. Should be good.
squee:
Have an awesome time!
ikaruga:
spectacular to see you once again at the weekend, sir!
machiko:

passion:
thanks :-s im sure it would probably be if i had somewhere to go at my parents. as it is there's not much for us to conflict over and we've been getting along surprisingly well. but i want to start my life blackeyed guess you're looking for some changes too. good luck with finding them!
machiko:

biggrin

opalia:
I can't believe there is someone else out there who likes Generation Kill and lives in the UK! I love that book.
Do you know what your novels are going to be about?
opalia:
I'd def recommend reading the book. There's a lot more going on in there than they could fit into 7 episodes. I think I know what you mean about writing, I have loads of ideas running around my head but as soon as I try to put them down on paper, I get writers block.
