I'm the same. I had my tongue pierced and was eating cheese sandwiches and salt and vinegar chips an hour later. The piercer was completely mystified when I went to have the bar shortened two weeks later. She said the piercing looked like I'd had it for months.

I'm planning to have a genital piercing next as well and will be taking stupidly good care of it too, just in case.
