I am quite irate about the election, but equally depressed as hell. It's time for the West Coast to say f-- it and secede, I think.
I wouldn't give up on voting so easily, though. Any ways of working for social and political change help, and us liberals and lefties are gonna have our work cut out for us. Don't mourn, organize!
welcome back darlin. I myself have been gone forever too. Been on the road a whole bunch and moved as well. Just thought Id say hi and good to have you back
i think you probably should vote again, especially if they change the system by which the votes are counted. that is, if the person with the most votes wins, rather than the electoral college votes. in that new system, then your vote very much would count. try not to lose hope. Jon x
Hey you,
It has been a long time...
Busy life? I am sure. How is the new living situation working out? Did you evr put that slip and slide in the Living Room?
I am super pissed about Bush, Dick, and Colon coming back for round two. But your state went with Kerry and so did mine, so we did our part. The problem was, Kerry didn't win a single southern state. What the fuck is up with that. Doesn't the south have low income families? I can't fucking believe that any low income family, person, or student would vote for Bush if they researched their candidates. Some people are afraid of change and I think that is why he won the south. Don't give up. Take four years to think about it.
Nobodys vote really counts until they reform the Electoral College system. The way I see it though, atleast I have reserved the right to question authority for another four years. SO---Stay Safe, Stay Strong, and keep smiling. ---OUT
